Pilanesberg National Park is definitely one of the most beautiful natural game reserves in South Africa. Situated at the Pilanesberg Mountains which was formed from an extinct volcano, the area is home to century old plants as well as a diverse habitat for Big 5 wildlife. The Park is wildly popular with families since it is Malaria free.
There is an abundance of wildlife in the Pilanesberg National Park. Big 5 game viewing opportunities are the order of the day – with several prides of lions, large herd of buffalo, elephants, both black and white rhino and the elusive leopard, guests always have something to tick off their sightings list.
